Women's health and iron deficiency in the Arab world
The series of lectures lasting several days from the end of September 2023 took Prof. Breymann through the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah (KSA), Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi (UAE), as well as Kuwait City and Al-Jahra (Kuwait).
The lectures and discussions on iron deficiency and anemia in women's health, especially with regard to "heavy menstrual bleeding" (HMB), "post partum hemorrhage" (PPH), pregnancy, and "patient blood management" (PBM) during gynecologic procedures, were of high quality and extremely educational.
A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful hosts and the more than 450 attendees, which included gynecologists, hematologists, anesthesiologists, general practitioners, clinic managers, and many others.
I am very grateful that I was able to join the lecture tour of my long-time partner VIFOR. Thank you very much for the very appreciated cooperation.
